Below you will link to the INS Government Visa Bulletin. The Visa Bulletin provides a snapshot of the "wait times" for those aliens (Beneficiaries) with family or business sponsors (Petitioners) who have filed visa applications on their behalf. Please note that wait times may vary depending on the nature of the Petitioner and the country of origin of the Beneficiary. For example, a wait for someone from Argentina who is the daughter of a United States Citizen is much shorter than is the wait for someone who is from the Philippines and is also the daughter of a United States Citizen. Furthermore, the wait can vary depending on the nature of the Petitioner. For example, the wait for the son of a Permanent Resident is usually much longer than is the wait for the son of a US Citizen for that same country. Please read the instructions you will link to below carefully to gain a better understanding of how the Visa Bulletin operates.
